Vet Care and Advice

[ldymlissa]
My female cat s acting unusual and I'm wondering if its the start of a urinary tract infection.

Tonight I caught her squatting on kitchen rug.  I told her no and sent her to litter box.   I then saw her in one and didn't worry about it.  About 15 minutes later I caught her on the bed squatting.  Again I told her no.  She went to the litter box.  This happened a couple more times, right after each other.   i noticed there wasn't much urine production in the box even though she keeps going to them.  She seems to really want to urinate on a soft area and she produces a good amount of urine if she does that.   she's cleaning herself a lot too.  Otherwise though she's eating, she's not hanging out by the litter box or water bowl and she s playing so I'm just not sure.   she used to be feral so bringing her to the vet is extremely stressful on her so if there's anything I can do or if there's not anything to worry about just yet that would be great.
